Killing Floor is all about tearing apart the hordes of monsters that come your way. Never before have the monsters looked so good!
I'm sitting here reminiscing on better days, college days, when I'd get home for the holidays and have nothing to do but play games all day. Sometimes I was in the mood for the big stories provided by games such as Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed. But other times, I wanted to play something mindless.
Killing Floor, the popular PC monster-killing game from Tripwire Interactive, was there for me. With it's over-the-top kill-all-monsters gameplay and gruesome monster design, Killing Floor provides one of the best horde mode experiences in gaming.
And ever since the sequel was announced, I've been waiting anxiously for a glimpse at the new game. Well, here it is:
Beautiful, isn't it? Tripwire promises this is the first in a series of trailers that will reveal the new aspects of the sequel. Looks like the mutant outbreak is far from over...
The horrifying creatures of Killing Floor escape into the Paris streets for some lunch. The first video in the series identifies five specimens as: Clot, Slasher, Crawler, Cyst and Fleshpound. They were filmed escaping through underground pathways and causing destruction in the city— confirming the "Horzine Outbreak" is far from over and has entered a much more deadly phase.
Killing Floor 2 arrives later this year for PC.
