The elemental brawler based on the popular Nickelodeon show is set to be released sometime this fall.
Nickelodeon and Activision have announced a new game based on the wildly popular animated series, The Legend of Korra. The game is being developed by Platinum Games, who you might recall as the team behind Vanquish, The Wonderful 101, and the upcoming Bayonetta 2. The Legend of Korra will be available on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 consoles, as well as PC.
As per the official press release, The Legend of Korra will feature “action-packed brawler” gameplay, and a story that takes place in between the events of Book Two and the upcoming Book Three of the TV series. Through beautiful cel-shaded graphics that are reminiscent of the Nickelodeon show, players will be able to harness the different elemental powers to aide in their martial arts abilities.

Conversely, a handheld version of The Legend of Korra is also being developed by Webfoot Technologies for the 3DS. Although the 3DS version will feature a similar story as the console game, the handheld Legend of Korra will be a turn-based strategy RPG.
The Legend of Korragame is currently slated for release this fall, while Book 3 of the TV show is premiering later this week. In the meantime, you can head over to the official Legend of KorraFacebook page and vote on the game’s cover art from one of three choices.
