Toy retail giant, Toys R Us has apparently let the next gen cat out of the bag early, and has listed the Xbox One and PlayStation 4's release dates, ahead of any official announcements from either Microsoft or Sony.
According to the toy store, the Xbox One is due to arrive on shelves on November 29, with the PlayStation 4 following on December 13. Although this certainly shouldn't be taken as gospel (neither Sony or Microsoft have commented on the leak), it's a perfectly plausible release window, especially as the Xbox One's release was already slated for mail-October launch.
If these dates are correct, it gives Microsoft a tiny, two week lead on the Sony unit, which is one of the smallest such buffers a console manufacturer has had against any competition.
It's also been confirmed that the Xbox One controllers will cost $59.99. With a play and charge kit this will be $74.99 (the charge kit is $24.99 on its own). Amazon.co.uk has the play and charge bundle listed for £89.99 in the UK. The Xbox One headset will be $24.99 in the US, and Amazon.co.uk lists the headset at £89.99, but hopefully that's a mistake, otherwise that's one hell of a pricey chat headset. The PlayStation 4 controller is listed at $59.99 in the US and on Amazon.co.uk for £54.99,
As for the consoles, the PS4 will retail for $399 in the US and in the UK £349, whilst the Xbox One will set you back $499 in the US and £429 in the UK.

This is inaccurate and silly. It has the ps4 as a December release because ps4 has not given even an exact month yet but they have given the year sooooo they list it as sometime in the last month. Xbox one has given us a month ... they said november this year ... therefore toys r us puts it in there as the last time. The reason ps4 is showing in the middle of december ia bc its the last month of the year ... and their is no way in hell that they would wait any later in december than that if they where to happen to do december release. Take these dates with a grain of salt ... chances are both will release in December.
Microsoft has already said November... I think these release dates might be accurate. Both are on Fridays, also, which is typical of console releases.
source?
Hopefully this its just speculation. we're all waiting on the ps4 and xbox1, the consumers is hungry to see what these systems is really about. I'm ready for the next generation consoles.
