CD Projekt Red is entering the MOBA market with a mobile platform battle arena title...
The Witcher: Battle Arenahas been revealed by CD Projekt Red, and it's a MOBA title for mobile platforms. It's also free-to-play.
As it's a MOBA, it's obviously a multiplayer focused release, but as well as fighting online with friends, you'll also be able to play the game solo. It features a collection of characters and units taken from the Witcheruniverse, including unique heroes with a range of special skills, changing the way the game plays depending on your chosen fighter.
The devs are also keen to point out that this will be free-to-play done right, and although it will feature the option to use real money to unlock features quickly, everything in the game is unlocakable for free, without the ridiculous grinding and time-sinking many other free-to-play games use to arm wrestle your cash from you.
The Witcher: Battle Arena will be released on Android, iOS and Windows Phone soon.
