It looks like Wii U users will have another reason to gripe with Nintendo, as the Wii U version of Splinter Cell: Blacklist won't have the offline co-op mode, as the other versions will.
According to Liu Jun via an interview with Nintendo Life, the Wii U version of Splinter Cell: Blacklist will support the online co-op mode, but the offline co-op won't be available on the Wii U, due to time constraints.
Liu Jun stated, "In order to ship at the same time as the other consoles, we unfortunately weren't able to delve into [offline co-op], but we think Nintendo gamers will be really excited to get the game at the same time as other consoles."
This isn't the first time Wii U players are getting left in the cold. Just last week, we learned that the Wii U version of Batman: Arkham Origins won't contain the multiplayer mode, either. And, Nintendo wonders why the Wii U's sales are in a dire situation.
