Wonder what the Final Fantasy VI soundtrack would sound like with a full orchestra? Listen to this!
This is just too beautiful to ignore. The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra performed the music of Final Fantasy VI in a full orchestral arrangement back in June, and we finally have a recording.
Titled "Born with the Gift of Magic," the Orchestra arranged the game's music into a 20-minute "symphonic poem." It's a beautiful arrangement and a must-listen for fans of the series!

The original score was composed by longtime series contributor Nobuo Uematsu. It's a work of art in itself with some of the best 8-bit synth you'll catch in gaming. The original score makes you very nostalgic for the days when video game scores were made up of a lot of boops and beeps.
Yes, this is a good way to start your morning.
