A tweet from within 343 Industries might have revealed the release date of Halo 5: Guardians!
Halo 5: Guardiansis coming in 2015, but until this point, we don't have a specific release date. We can assume it won't be out until next Fall since that's usually when the series releases their newest and greatest installment (completely biased statement).
This next bit, you should approach as rumor...
According to a tweet by Michael Cavanaugh, an eSports Halo coach and Prima Games author, the game will arrive on Nov. 10, 2015. We have some evidence. This is the tweet:

This picture seems to have been taken inside a cafeteria at 343 HQ. If the counter under the 343 Industries banner has to do with Halo 5: Guardians, then it seems to be counting down the days until the release of the game. 382 days to go would mean that the release date will be on Nov. 10 of next year.
In the past, most major Halo games (except Halo 3) have had Nov. release dates, so whether this is inaccurate or true, it can't be far off the mark.
