Microsoft is cutting the price of its gaming console just in time for the holidays. Will you pick up an Xbox One this season?

The Xbox One is getting a price cut on Nov. 2 -- down from $400 to $350. The price cut will last through to the weekend and end on Jan. 3.

“Fans don’t have to wait for Black Friday this year to enjoy great savings on Xbox One," said Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president, Microsoft. "We’re offering our best price yet, with unprecedented choices and value, so more people can play on Xbox One this holiday.”

“We’re gearing up for one of our biggest holidays ever and we are thrilled to offer fans up to $150 in savings on Xbox One and some of the biggest blockbuster games of the season.”

The $50 price cut also includes the Sunset Overdrive, Assassin's Creed Unity, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare bundles.

This generation being what it is -- few games, okay results, but huge console sales -- it's no surprise that the Big Three are really trying to put their consoles out there this holiday. After the huge lineup of upcoming games shown at E3 2014, this will undoubtedly be the explosive year in sales the console market has been waiting for.
