Want to see Agent Locke in his Halo cutscene? Check this leaked footage out!
There's more Halo 5in Halo: The Master Chief Collection than you might've thought. For those who are under the assumption that The MCC is a placeholder for next year's big Halo release, consider that 343 has added a ton of new things in the collection that connect past games to the upcoming Halo 5.
You can find all these little teasers when The Master Chief Collection drops next Tuesday.
For example, this cinematic starring Agent Locke and the good, old Arbiter:
It looks like Locke, who will first appear in the upcoming Halo Nightfall digital feature, is trying to rally up the Covenant under The Arbiter's command to join him in his search for Master Chief, who's gone AWOL in the aftermath of Halo 4. It doesn't seem The Arbiter trusts Locke very much, but I guess that's understandable since the old Elite had to really warm up to humanity to begin with back in the Covenant War. Of course, he's also not happy that Locke is trying to chase down his old "pal."
Want more Halo 5 in your MCC? These new cinematics bookend Halo 2: Anniversary, so there's still an ending cinematic to look forward to. There are also tons of terminals in that game that shed light on upcoming events in Halo 5 -- very much in the same way that Halo: Anniversary teased Halo 4.
You can find this particular cinematic when you choose the "Heretic" campaign level in Halo 2: Anniversary.
