Shigeru Miyamoto sat down with Eiji Aonuma to show off some new gameplay from the upcoming The Legend of Zelda game for Wii U!
Creator Shigeru Miyamoto and Director Eiji Aonuma sat down to show off some of the new gameplay features in next year's The Legend of Zelda Wii U. The developers revealed that the game will indeed come out next year, although the new Star Fox will come out beforehand. Both games will arrive after Majora's Mask 3D, though, so you'll have to wait until at least after the Spring.
Here is the gameplay footage:
We got a lot of Epona and crossbow action in this trailer. Nintendo got crazy logical about horses with this installment. It's true: it's not often that horses crash into trees. By freeing up by the joysticks, players can focus on aiming their crossbows at enemies on the ground. It's simple, but makes a lot of sense.
The game looks very fresh, a Zelda experience we haven't seen before, although I remind you that Zelda games have technically been open-world in the past. This is just a fantastic re-imagining of those old concepts.
We'll be keeping a very close eye on this one in 2015!
