The newest addition to Tekken's vast roster gets her own trailer. Let's see how this enthusiastic catgirl does at the King of Iron Fist.
UPDATE: Director Katsuhiro Harada has clarified that Lucky Chloe will be a Japan/Europe exclusive and will not arrive in the North American edition of the game. Your complaining worked, fanboys.
ORIGINAL STORY: We’re only three months away from Tekken 7 hitting the Japanese arcades and new details continue to trickle out. Since they started testing the game, we’ve already seen the two new characters in Claudio Serafino and Katarina Alves. While they have their unique tics, there’s nothing especially out of the ordinary about them. Then they released a trailer for another new character in Lucky Chloe and...well, she's a bit out of the ordinary.
Here you can see the trailer of Lucky Chloe, a breakdancing catgirl. Is she an actual catgirl or just a girl dressed as a cat? I don’t know, but her voice is very, very annoying. Nice moves, though.
So far the reaction to her has been a bit mixed. The YouTube down votes are almost on par with the up votes. Yes, it seems that a girl dressed as a cat just doesn’t fit in with a cast of such characters as a boxing kangaroo, a man made of wood, a robot teenage girl with chainsaw hands, and...whatever the hell Yoshimitsu is.
Other than the three new fighters, other announced Tekken 7 characters include: Alisa Bosconovitch, Asuka Kazama, Bryan Fury, Feng Wei, Heihachi Mishima, Hwoarang, Kazuya Mishima, King, Lars Alexandersson, Leo, Lili, Ling Xiaoyu, Marshall Law, Paul Phoenix, Sergei Dragunov, and Steve Fox. By the time it hits the home console, I imagine the cast to be at least three times as big.
