PC-owning Grand Theft Auto V fans are hit with another delay , but at least online heists are coming soon...
NewsRockstar has issued an update on the status of GTA V for PC, as well as the long awaited GTA Online heists, but PC players won't be happy.
Despite being delayed, and pushed back a couple of times already, Grand Theft Auto V for PC has suffered yet another set back, with the game arriving on home computer on the new date of April 14. The increased delay is to add more polish to the game, say Rockstar via its Newswire blog.
“Our apologies to PC gamers worldwide who have been counting down the days until the launch of the game, but a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible, and to make certain that both Heists and the GTA Online experience are ready to roll out on day one for PC.”
It's not all bad news for PC players, though, as Rockstar has promised some additional in-game cash for players to use in GTA Online as an apology.
“As a gesture of thanks for your understanding, we will grant anyone who has pre-ordered the game an additional $200,000 in-game cash for use in GTA Online.”
In the same post, Rockstar also revealed the console release date for the online heists, and this will me on March 10. These will bring the anticipated four player co-op heists to the game, allowing players to plan and pull off high risk robberies throughout Los Santos and Blaine County. More details about this mode are to be released soon.
