NewsIt certainly doesn't look like we'll be praising the sun any time soon in the gloomy city of Yarnham, Bloodborne's bleak and Gothic setting. Looking even darker than From Software's first Souls game, Demon's Souls, Bloodborne is the new IP from the studio, and one that continues the series' traditional hardcore action RPG gameplay, whilst expanding on the foundation.
Faster paced than its predecessors in terms of combat, and possessing a more fleshed out online mode, with the new co-op Chalice Dungeons, Bloodborne is for many the biggest release of the year, and below you can see the Japanese launch trailer from PlayStation.
Death is a strong theme once again, as is madness, as hunters in the world don't seem to be the most well-hinged people, even if they're very handy at dispatching all manner of demons and creatures.
