NewsMarch 26 sees the arrival of the PS4'a latest firmware update, which will add the ability to suspend and resume any game instantly.
The update, codenamed "Yukimura" will let players set the PS4 into suspend mode from within a game. Then, when it comes to return to a gaming session, the PS4 can be powered back up right to the point it left, with no need for loading or booting up the game via the PS4's GUI.
Along with this useful addition come a few additional features, including some new accessibility options like text-to-speech and picture zoom, the option to upgrade a sub PSN account to a master account, and the ability to reassign DualShock 4 buttons.
Other new features mainly deal with performance, such as the new 60fps Share Play playback function, Facebook friend search, new trophy features, and an upload of clips to Dalymotion.
It's an interesting update, and the suspend/resume functionality will be welcomed by players, as will the Share Play improvements. So, go switch on your PS4, as the update should be there now.
