TrailerSince its launch in 2009, Angry Birds has become one of the most oft-played games of all time, with an estimated three billion downloads and more than a dozen variations on its bird-flicking theme - including Angry Birds Star Wars.
Developer Rovio has now announced Angry Birds 2, which they've described as "Bigger. Badder. Birdier." Exactly what that means is anyone's guess, but after all those spin-offs, it'll be interesting to see how - or if - they can bring something fresh to the series while retaining the pick-up-and-play basis that has made it so popular.
There's an incredibly brief teaser trailer, which doesn't really tell us anything. But we're sure to hear more very soon - it'll be made available to download on the July 30.
