Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 - Timeline Trailer

Call of Duty isn't quite as popular for its story as it is for its multiplayer and zombie modes, but there are still a lot of fans that come back for the campaigns year after year, especially when it comes to Treyarch's outings. 

The Black Opsseries (and World at War) has some of the best storytelling in the franchise, full of conspiracies, double crosses, secret agents, and superweapons. In essence, it's Call of Duty's take on the spy thriller, and it's finally back.

Black Ops has covered a lot of historical territory, including World War II, Vietnam, several civil wars, and even some futuristic conflicts that all connect in an extremely convoluted web. Luckily, Treyarch is aware of its narrative and has released a new timeline trailer designed to catch you up on everything that's happened in the series so far.

The new timeline trailer is quite literally a timeline that might make it a bit of a hard watch, but it's perfect if you need to know what the heck is going on in this series.
