World of Warcraft's next expansion, Legion, has a new cinematic trailer and a release date.
NewsUnsurprisingly, we learned a few new details about World of Warcraft's next big expansion, Legion, at today's BlizzCon 2015 keynote.
Among the announcements, we got an estimated release window for the expansion. It will arrive this Summer "on or before Sept. 21, 2016." It looks like you'll have to wait almost a year to play the game's next adventure.
But at least you can chew on this new cinematic trailer until then:
Original Story 08.06.15:
Blizzard revealed World of Warcraft's next expansion during their presentation at Gamescom 2015. The expansion is called Legion.
We also got the very first trailer for the expansion, which you can watch below:
Players will fight the Burning Legion, as Azeroth falls under attack by demons. The level cap will increase to 110 (up from 100) and a new Demon Hunter hero class will be available. The expansion also includes new dungeons and raids, new Honor System, and Class Order Halls. There are 36 Artifacts, one per specialization. There's also a whole new continent called the Broken Isles.

The Broken Isles is a forgotten continent at the heart of Azeroth. It used to be a Night Elf civilization, but was destroyed. The place is basically a graveyard. This is where you'll face the Legion at the Tomb of Sargeras. Gul'dan has turned this place into a gateway to the many Legion worlds. The demonic invasion underway is bigger than that experienced during the War of the Ancients.
New dungeons include Halls of Valor, Black Rook Hold, Vault of the Wardens, Eye of Azshara, Darkheart Thicket, Neltharion's Lair, Helheim, Suramar City and Violet Hold.
Here's a sizzle reel that shows off the new features in the expansion:
No release date has been announced for Legion, but we'll update this article as we learn more! You can also read more about this expansion at the official Legion site.
