The sinister assassin FANG makes his debut as M. Bison's new righthand man. Plus six DLC characters are revealed!
TrailerWith Street Fighter V coming out in a mere two months, we’ve finally been granted our final initial roster and then some. The sixteenth character to round out the cast is a new guy by the name of FANG. I don’t know what his name stands for, but it probably isn’t pleasant.
The long-sleeved kung-fu assassin has replaced Sagat as the second-in-command of Shadaloo. He’s obsessed with using poisons in battle, but as a member of Shadaloo, he has an obsession with experimenting on people.
In other words, he’s like Fiendish Dr. Wu from Black Dynamite: “Your knowledge of scientific biological transmogrification is only outmatched by your zest for kung-fu treachery!”

FANG’s V-Skill allows him to shoot a slow-moving projectile that poisons his opponent. The way poison works is that it slowly drains their health until either it runs its course or FANG gets hit by something.
His V-Trigger, on the other hand, causes his body to emit a cloud of poison, affecting his opponent if they get close enough.
While that finalizes the initial sixteen characters, Capcom has also announced the first wave of DLC characters. These six fighters will come out over the course of the year and can be unlocked both through actual money and/or in-game money.
