Kirby's latest adventure takes him to a world of mechanical threat where he must don his own robot suit to defeat his enemies.
Nintendo's biggest announcement in yesterday's Nintendo Direct was a new Kirby title, which was a surprise since everyone expected some new Legend of Zelda Wii U details at the end of the transmission.
Kirby's had a pretty busy couple of years, starring in a new adventure every year for the past three years. While last year's installment saw him adventure through a world of claymation rainbows, this year sees him take on a mechanized menace in Kirby: Planet Robobot.

In the new game, Kirby dons a mech suit to take on robotic enemies while also making his way through his typical platforming quests. One of the cool things about our little pink hero's mech suit is that, like its owner, it can assimilate enemies' powers to use against them.
Another new feature in the game is a four-player multiplayer mode called Team Kirby Clash, which allows you take on challenging bosses in a gauntlet RPG mode. Teammates can level up and unlock special attacks to use in battle.
Kirby: Planet Robobot arrives on June 10 for the 3DS.
