The adventures continue through slipspace in Dark Horse's next big Halo graphic novel!
The next chapter of Halo comics has been unveiled by Dark Horse. Tales from Slipspace is an anthology of "all-new stories" from talents such as Jonathan Wayshak, Eric Nguyen, Alex Irvine, Kody Chamberlain, Dave Crosland, John Jackson Miller, Jonathan Goff, Simon Roy, Duffy Boudreau. It arrives on October 12.
Halo: Tales from Slipspace arrives on the heels of Dark Horse's recent Halo offerings, Initiationand Escalation, which set the stage for the latest game from 343 Industries, Halo 5. It was not revealed if the anthology's stories would take place before or after the new game. One piece of art (see above) was released with the announcement that teases a Master Chief will appearance in the book. And that looks like the armor he's worn since Halo 4. So the book could focus on his more recent adventures.
Tales from Slipspace isn't the first comic book anthology based on the franchise. The first Halocomic, simply titled Halo Graphic Novel, featured four stories by different creative teams. More recent series have featured ongoing stories.
It's also worth pointing out that this is John Jackson Miller's first Halo story. You might remember him from the great Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic comics and from his more recent Star Wars novels, such as A New Dawn.
