The upcoming sequel will take Assassin’s Creed’s usual release window this fall. Here’s the latest on Watch Dogs 2!
Watch Dogs 2will be released on November 15, 2016, it was revealed today. The news comes via an online advertisement that accidentally went live on IGN ahead of schedule this morning. The artwork in the marketing material also confirms that Watch Dogs 2is set in San Francisco and will feature a new protagonist.

The original Watch Dogswas released in May 2014, and featured a futuristic version of Chicago in which hackers could remotely take control of everything in the city’s infrastructure, from security cameras to underground steam pipes.
Ubisoft has an official Watch Dogs 2 announcement planned for 5 PM U.K. time tomorrow (12 PM EST), where we can expect to learn more details and most likely see the world premiere trailer of the game in action. For now, you can watch a brief teaser trailer that Ubisoft posted in anticipation for the upcoming announcement.
