We finally learned a little more about the world of Detroit: Become Human as the game's E3 2016 trailer showcased a cinematic experience loaded with the type of decision-based narrative moments that Quantic Dreams is famous for:
If you're not familiar with Quantic Dream, you probably should get acquainted. The developer has created some of the best cinematic video games of the last two generations of consoles, including Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain. Quantic is all about beautiful graphics and heartwrenching storytelling that will leave your head spinning (NOT looking at you, Beyond: Two Souls).
The developer's latest title has been revealed: it's called Detroit: Become Human. Although we haven't heard much about Quantic's new game since late 2015, we're bound to get a new announcement and trailer at E3 2016.

Detroit is based on a 2012 tech demo called "Kara," which is a personal favorite of ours. It's the story of an android who wants to live as a human.

Well, Detroitis the continuation of this story. What happens when Kara leaves the factory and enters the real world? You'll soon find out. Interestingly enough, Detroit is described as an "Android City" in the first trailer for the game. Check it out:
The game will tackle themes of artificial intelligence, including the rights of machines and whether they should be treated as servants to mankind. I think someone has been reading Isaac Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics again...
Detroit: Become Human Release Date
No release date has been set for Detroit: Become Human. We'd reckon that the game won't arrive until sometime in 2017, based on how little we've heard about it since the initial announcement in October 2015.
