It was only a matter of time before Rick Sanchez took us into another reality with the Rick and Morty Simulator Virtual Rick-Ality.
Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland has been gaga for virtual reality for a long while now (he’d go off on excited tangents about it on the pre-Rick and Morty“Grandma’s Virginity Podcast”). So it’s only fitting that we’d get a VR Rick and Morty thingy. It’s called, naturally, Virtual Rick-ality and there’s a teaser trailer available now!
Virtual Rick-ality is being published by Adult Swim Games and developed for the HTC Vive by Owlchemy Labs, the folks behind the VR game, Job Simulator. Clearly you’ll be able to explore Rick’s lab but according to Owlchemy’s press release, there will be portal-jumping too. Who knows where you’ll be able to portal to, Morty! Holy crap, Morty, just think of it, Morty!
If you’re cool enough to be going to San Diego Comic Con next week, Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality will be playable there so go check it out and manhandle a plumbus in 3D!
