With the Xbox One's launch being just before Black Friday, that leaves us wondering what sort of deals we could see for the Xbox One...

Microsoft has officially announced an Xbox One release date, and it is only one week before Black Friday. So, we're left wondering, will we see any major Black Friday deals for the Xbox One?

When the Xbox 360 launched just before Black Friday in 2005, U.S. consumers didn't see any sort of mind-blowing deals.  If you're like me, you still paid $399.99 for the Xbox 360. In fact, if you remember 2005's Black Friday like I do, you'll remember the disappointment to see that the Xbox 360 was hardly even mentioned in any of the ads from big retailers like Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, Target or Best-Buy.

But with competition between retailers being stronger than ever, companies will undoubtedly battle it out and sweeten the Xbox One deals on Black Friday to bring customers into their stores.  A likely scenario would be Wal-Mart adding a $50 giftcard with Xbox One purchases, or having incredible deals on the Xbox One games, themselves, as Wal-Mart has been known to do in the past.  Likely, we will see more than a few half-priced Xbox One games this year. Last year we saw games like Madden 13007 Legendsand Borderlands 2 cut in half, and ridiculous deals on new classics like Batman: Arkham City and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for only $10.  Expect Best Buy and Gamestop to bundle their Xbox One's with a free game (likely one we don't want).

Of course this is just speculation, but we will keep you posted with any Xbox One Black Friday deals as the ads are released, which should be by the end of September.

So, do you think we'll see any Xbox One Black Friday Deals? What sort of likely deals would you like to see for the Xbox One on Black Friday 2013?

**Update 11/12/13** We've seen all of the major retailer Black Friday ads, and unfortunately, next gen deals are pretty much non-existant.  Target's ad, Best Buy's ad, and GameStop's ad are all available on BFads.Net, but you'll notice they're missing something--next gen deals. Even Wal-mart isn't offering anything for next-gen consoles.
