They don't know quite what it will be just yet, but Rocksteady is ready to make the game of their dreams.

For many people, the idea of a virtual reality Batman game is a dream come true. For developer Rocksteady Studios, however, it is merely the last thing to do before they reach for their dreams.
Rocksteady producer Dax Ginn (great James Bond movie villain name, BTW) has informed Eurogamer that Batman VRhas been submitted for approval to Sony and is now complete.
"We submitted [Batman VR to Sony] last week which was an awesome experience," said Ginn. "One of the developers celebrated the game 'going gold' by dressing up in a gold spandex suit and bringing in a golden boom box.”
According to Ginn, Rocksteady doesn't plan on celebrating this latest accomplishment for long. Instead, they are already taking advantage of the support that Warner Bros. have shown them thus far and have decided to take a bit of a break from active development in order to better outline the details of a dream project that they expect to be their next release.
"I think we've proven that we're a hardworking team," said Ginn. "We work well together, and we can really decide what's best creatively for our own destiny."
Speculation has been running rampant for some time as to what Rocksteady's dream project may be, but the two most popular theories at the moment involve a Superman game or a Justice League-related title. While Ginn expresses some remorse at the thought of abandoning the Batman universe that they have become major contributors to in recent years, his overall attitude is one of cautious optimism as it relates to the studio's future.
"We're definitely letting go of that comfort blanket and putting ourselves in the position where whatever we do next is going to feel very different," said Ginn. "There's always an anxiety associated with change and that's where we want to be. We want to feel uncomfortable because we want to make awesome stuff."
