The latest Mafia III trailer showcases the ultra-violent combat mechanics of the game, as main character Lincoln Clay takes the fight to the New Orleans mob. Shotguns, machines guns, and plenty of other gruesome toys are at his disposal in this new look at the game. Check out the trailer below:

Mafia III's impressive streak of incredible trailers continued today with the release of this new preview for the game that shows an in-game bank robbery that appears to be going about as poorly as a heist can go. The trailer also gives us a little better look at the game's New Orleans setting as well as the crime families that run the show.
We knew Mafia III was going to be cinematic, but this latest live-action trailer from developer Hanger 13 really puts into perspective just how stylish this game's narrative really is. Through spliced together sequences of mobsters and their victims, this trailer sheds a little light on the motivations of main character Lincoln Clay whose war against the mob is based on just some of the trials and tribulations shown in this trailer:
Leading up to the release of Mafia III, publisher 2K and developer Hangar 13 will be releasing a series of six character trailers that highlight the major players in this upcoming crime title. The first gives us a closer look at Lincoln Clay and is dubbed The Soldier. Check it out:
2K released a new trailer for Mafia III's "Family Kick-back" pack, which you can get if you pre-order the game. The pack comes with three special vehicles and three weapons. The cars included in the pack are the Lassiter Leopard, Smith Moray MX 100, and Berkley Stallion. You also get the Gator shotgun, camo sniper, and Trench 1938 submachine gun.

Mafia III is a tale of revenge from the point-of-view of a man fighting the mob instead of the other way around. 2K has flipped the tables on this one, as Vietnam vet Lincoln Clay takes the fight to the New Orleans Mafia and hunts down those who did him wrong. Things get very bloody indeed.

When a static announcement image emerges, a trailer usually isn't too far behind. True to form, less than two weeks on from 2K's Mafia III news, along comes the first trailer, showing us the murky world in which its latest free-roaming gangster simulator takes place.
With a more noir-ish and murky atmosphere than the blackly comic Grand Theft Auto games, Mafia III is a 60s-set story about a multi-racial gang on a trail of murder and revenge. It's a CG trailer, so don't expect to get much of an idea of what the game itself looks like, but full marks for some great 60s music.
