The overgrown Spanish brawler will make his return in Tekken 7 and we have the footage of him punching Jin Kazama into oblivion.

At New York Comic Con, they had a pretty big setup for Tekken 7, sprinkled with a handful of tournaments. Waiting on line to play the game was a good way to pass the time when you had nowhere to go and were too tired to walk aimlessly through the show floor. Although it was a great boon towards garnering interest in the game, Namco was still very silent on news throughout the show. No new characters and no release date.
Luckily, we do have some new news in this post-NYCC rest period. Miguel Caballero Rojo will be the next fighter to join the cast. You can see him in action here, including his Rage Art where he brutalizes his opponent with his fists as shown from the victim’s point of view.
Miguel was introduced in Tekken 6 back in 2007. The tall Spaniard brawler was introduced as a side-effect of the global war going on between Jin Kazama’s Mishima Zaibatsu and Kazuya Mishima’s G Corporation. Although violent and with a short fuse, the matador Miguel had a soft spot for his loving sister. On her wedding day, an airstrike from the Zaibatsu wiped out everyone but Miguel. Driven mad with rage at his sister's senseless death, he’s made it his mission to find Jin Kazama and annihilate him.
Despite being somewhat new to the series, Miguel has appeared in the less-than-beloved live-action Tekkenfilm as well as the Tekken manga, where he and Bob Richards started up a rivalry and brawled from location to location.
That currently brings us to 33 fighters. Surely, there will be more to come.
Tekken 7 is set to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows during the first half of 2017. It’s available in arcades, but mostly in Japan, so...yeah.
