Experience one of gaming's greatest titles in a whole new way.

The Diablo IIIportion of the Blizzcon opening ceremonies revealed that the original Diablo is being remade in Diablo III.
This remake will recreate the original Diablo game and allow players to either start from scratch or use their current Diablo III character to play through the game. Additionally, the remake will allow players to utilize a filter option that replicates the original installments graphics as well as certain in-game mechanics (such as restricted eight-way movement).
The patch that will introduce this remake will be available on the Diablo III PTR server next week.
Blizzard has also confirmed that they are adding the Necromancer class to Diablo III. Here is the class's reveal trailer:
This new class will be added as part of a content update that will expand item slots, introduce new equipment, and bring other updates that are unconfirmed at this time. Although the Necromancer is playable at Blizzcon, it appears that he will not be available to the public until sometime next year.
