Blood, gore, and mayhem have never looked better.

Given how long players have been enjoying its own particular brand of monster slaying chaos, it feels like Killing Floor 2 has been available for years. Remarkably, however, the game is still considered to be in its Early Access stage. That's going to change when Killing Floor 2 gets a full release on November 18th.

To celebrate the monumental occasion, developer Tripwire Interactive has released this chaotic new trailer for the game's enhanced PS4 Pro edition that gives you just a taste of what is to come.

That footage certainly confirms that the PS4 Pro is going to offer some serious power to those that are able to take advantage of its full range of features. The full range of Killing Floor 2's PS4 upgrades, including better textures and a higher framerate, can be found here

Tripwire Interactive also took to the game's community forum on Steam to share their vision for Killing Floor 2's future. The big reveal there were the details of the game's upcoming Survivalist class which is described as a "high skill cap, jack-of-all-trades-but-master-of-none." This class' starting lineup is perhaps its most intriguing design element as the Survivalist begins each game with an HE grenade, a machete, and a random tier one weapon. This certainly fulfills that promise of a "master of none" design strategy as do the class's skills which include everything from better reload times to a slight uptick in damage.

Killing Floor 2 is available for PS4, Linux, and Windows. A multiplayer open beta for the game's PS4 version is currently running until November 6th.
