Project Sonic Release Date
Project Sonic is set to release in 2017. The game is coming to XBO, PS4, Switch, and PC.

Sega's recent 25th anniversary celebration of the Sonicfranchise held at San Diego Comic-Con ended up providing series fans with more than just a reason to celebrate all things Sonic related.
As announced at the event, Sega will be releasing two new Sonic titles by the end of 2017. The first is called Project Sonic (no word on if that's the final name) and it looks...well, it looks a lot like a 3D Sonic game. Its trailer suggests that this is going to be a much darker Sonic game than usual, as it appears to focus on invading giant robots who look determined to destroy the world (as tends to be the case) and a revolution against said robots led by Sonic.
