Mass Effect: Andromeda Latest News
For those hoping to play Mass Effect: Andromeda on the Nintendo Switch, BioWare has some bad news: there are currently no plans to port the game to the Big N's new console.
"We’re not planning on it," producer Michael Gamble told Stevivor. Gamble did clarify that BioWare would consider developing a Switch version of the game if there's a demand for it. "If the Switch launches and everyone’s just yammering for Mass Effect, who knows. [sic] We never want to close doors like that."
It sounds like time will tell.
In other news, Nvidia will showcase some new gameplay footage and environments from the game at their upcoming CES presentation tomorrow, according to Mass Effect's official Twitter handle.
You can watch a live stream of the presentation here. We'll update this hub with the latest trailers and gameplay videos too, so stay tuned!
Mass Effect: Andromeda Release Date
A promotional image on Amazon revealed that Mass Effect: Andromeda will arrive on March 21, 2017. While EA told IGN that it's not the official release date, this date is supported by other evidence that leaked a few weeks ago.
The release date for Mass Effect: Andromeda was also seemingly been leaked by a listing on Amazon for the official Art of Mass Effect: Andromedabook. The listing has the book arriving on March 21, 2017, and states that it will be out simultaneously with the game. That means that we should expect Mass Effect: Andromeda on March 21, as well!

Electronic Arts CFO Blake Jorgensen previously announced at the Morgan Stanley’s Technology, Media & Telecom Conference, via NeoGAF, that the publisher has delayed Mass Effect: Andromeda to Q1 2017, which could mean sometime between January and March of next year. The highly-anticipated space opera sequel was originally set for a Holiday 2016 release.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is coming to XBO, PS4, and PC.
