Nintendo has announced that it will be hosting a Nintendo Switch Direct event on January 12, 2017 at 11 pm ET.

According to the official announcement, this presentation will "be an event for invited media, financial analysts, and trade partners in Tokyo that will be globally livestreamed on Jan. 12, U.S. time. The presentation will include the launch date and pricing for Nintendo Switch, as well as a look at the lineup of games currently in development."

That presentation will be followed by Nintendo Treehouse livestream on Jan. 13 at 9:30 am ET. This livestream will showcase all of the games announced during the Nintendo Switch Direct.

You can watch all of the announcements below:

There are certain things we expect to see tomorrow in terms of games. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will absolutely make an appearance, although it's still unclear if the game will arrive as a launch title or if it will end up being pushed back to Summer 2017. We suspect that other titles shown in the announcement trailer, such as Mario Kart, Splatoon, Skyrim, and the new 3D Mario game will also make an appearance. It's a logical assumption that these titles will also be available at launch.

Nintendo might even reveal some new titles for the Switch's Virtual Console, which is rumored to include GameCube games - a first for the digital platform. It remains to be seen how the Switch will populate its eShop, and whether games from the Wii U will be available for purchase on the console.

Finally, on the hardware side, we should get a better sense of how powerful the console is during the presentation. People are keeping an especially watchful eye on any details about the handheld's battery life. A weak battery could be a dealbreaker for many fans.

We'll know soon enough!
