Between A Criminal Past and the standalone release of Breach, there's a lot of Deus Ex about to drop.

We liked Deus Ex: Mankind Divided quite a bit. In fact, it even snagged a top five place on our game of the year list. While not everyone gave this underrated franchise follow-up a chance, those who did will be excited to hear that the game's next piece of DLC is almost upon us.
Square Enix has confirmed that the second story DLC release for Mankind Divided, A Criminal Past, will launch on February 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. According to the Square Enix blog, A Criminal Past takes place sometime between Mankind Divided and Human Revolution. In it, players will join Adam Jensen as he is willingly sentenced to serve time in a high-security prison for augmented felons. While there, he will need to discover what happened to a promising fellow agent who has gone off the radar.
Of course, he will first need to get past a series of prison-related obstacles that threaten to undo his secret mission.
While their announcement reminds us that season pass holders will get this DLC for free, it doesn't confirm what the price of this release is for those who wish to purchase it separately. The previous Deus Ex story DLC, System Rift, retailed for $12, so the price is likely somewhere in that neighborhood.
If that's a wee bit out of your price range for any reason, or you just don't own Mankind Divided, then it may interest you to know that Eidos and Square Enix have just released Deus Ex: Breach for free on Steam. This add-on to Deus Ex turns the game into a VR Missions-style arcade shooter that requires you to complete a series of creative tasks. It's enjoyable enough to justify a separate release, especially when that release is a free one.
