Spider-Man Release Date
Insomniac's Spider-Man does not have a release date as of yet. From the looks of it, the game is still in development and the release is probably still a year or two out. The game is coming exclusively to the PS4.

In what must be considered a piece of dream casting in the gaming world, Insomniac Games (developers of Ratchet and Clank and Sunset Overdrive) are going to be helming the next Spider-Man game. Announced at the Sony E3 2016 conference, the game looks to stay true to the comics all the way down to Peter Parker's witty banter.

According to the trailer, this doesn't appear to be based on any specific Spider-Man film or comic, but rather should be an original tale from somewhere within this world. Beyond Spider-Man's fresh white suit, we don't know much regarding what exactly Insomniac has in store for their version of Spider-Man, though the trailer does make it clear that the studio's ability to create unique action sequences will be prominently on display.
"Spider-Man is one of the most iconic and well-known characters in the world, and we're thrilled to be given the responsibility to create a brand new, authentic Spider-Man story," said Insomniac on PlayStation Blog.
"This is a more seasoned Peter Parker who's more masterful at fighting big crime in New York City," Insomniac continued. "At the same time, he's struggling to balance his absurdly chaotic personal life and career."
