Final Fantasy VII Remake Release Date
No release date has been set for Final Fantasy VII Remake. It is coming to the PlayStation 4.
Back in January 2017, director Tetsuya Nomura offered an update for all of the eager fans who have been waiting for any sign that this project has made some progress. Basically, Nomura wants you to know that you're going to have to wait a bit longer.
Speaking to Weekly Famitsu (via IGN), Nomura said that the game is "steadily progressing on production" and "that the wait will be be a bit longer for Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy VII Remake."
This shouldn't come as a surprise, as Final Fantasy VII Remake hasn't popped up at any conferences for the past year. In fact, there haven't been many updates at all since E3 2015.
"Last year, I didn't put out much information on either title, but this year I want to show our progress at an event somewhere," said Nomura. He didn't go into specifics about what show might feature the game.
"The release of the titles themselves have still have a way to go," confirmed Nomura. "There are many titles releasing this year, if you can wait for any 'surprises.'"
What those surprises may be is anyone's guess. More on Final Fantasy VII Remake as we learn it!
