The shocking prices of Gran Turismo 6's microtransactions have been revealed...
The PlayStation store has updated their Gran Turismo 6 page with information about how microtransactions will work for the game.
Players can trade real-world cash for in-game credits, sold in denominations of 500k for £3.99 (roughly $6.50), 1 million for £7.99 (roughly $13.00), 2.5 million for £15.99 (roughly $26.00), and 7 million for £39.99 ($65.40). Of course, Sony will change the U.S. prices to match how typical pricing works, so those U.S. prices aren't quite as accurate.
The Jaguar XJ13 would cost you 20 million credits if you wanted to skip the grind and unlock it with real-world cash, which would require you to purchase two 7 million credit packs, a 2.5 million pack, and a 1 million pack, which will cost you £119.95 (or $196.14).
Purchasing cars instead of earning them in-game is entirely optional, but purchasing them unlocks them quicker and eliminates the grind.
