The PS4 is already responsible for 10 percent of all Twitch streaming, according to new stats released by Sony's EU PS Blog.
The post announced that the PS4 share button is already responsible for 20 million minutes of live gameplay broadcasts, with just over 2 million users since the PS4 launch last month. With 800,000 gameplay broadcasts and more than 7.1 million spectate sessions on Twitch and Ustream, the total adds up to more than 20 million minutes of live gameplay streamed from PS4 systems all over the world.
Ustream gathers that each broadcast averages a length of 31 minutes.
“PlayStation 4 is specifically designed so people can share their gaming experiences and interest in streaming live gameplay has surpassed our wildest expectations,” commented Sony president Shuhei Yoshida.
