Blizzard has pushed back the open beta for Hearthstone...
Blizzard announced this morning that the company has delayed the open beta of Hearthstone to January 2014.
Production director Jason Chayes has revealed that the team wants more feedback from the closed beta before releasing it as an open beta to the masses.
"We believe the right thing to do for the game is to not rush it out into open beta, but to instead hold onto it a little longer to make sure it's ready for wider testing," stated Chayes in his blog post.
"The development team has been working hard to get this out before the end of the year, but our highest priority is that Hearthstone has an awesome launch when all gates are lifted and everyone can download it and play at the same time."
It's not a huge pushback, so it looks like players will still be able to get into the card-playing action in the next month or so.
