With Lightning's return upon us, catch up on the story of XIII with a new 16-bit trailer!
Lightning, the sword-wielding protagonist of Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2, returns for the culminating chapter of Cocoon's story. Taking place five hundred years after the events of the first two installments of Final Fantasy XIII, Lightning has thirteen days to put things right before chaos engulfs her world.
PlayStation released a fun 16-bit retro trailer that catches us up on the story so far. The mythology of XIII is very big, and we definitely welcome this refresher, especially when it looks like the classic Final Fantasy games we grew up with!
