Is Halo 2 Anniversary coming our way?
Today seems to be a good day for leaks. The same source at Microsoft that confirmed that the company was testing a discless Xbox One console has also revealed that Halo 2 Anniversary is on its way.
Although this doesn't come as a big surprise -- Halo 2 is turning 10 this year -- it's the first time anyone at Microsoft has discussed the possibility of an Anniversary edition.
According to this source, Halo 2 Anniversary will be released on Nov.11 in two special editions for the Xbox One: a Collector's Edition that comes with beta access to Halo 5 and a Halo TV series (not the one rumored to be directed by Neill Blomkamp), and a War Collection, which comes with everything from the Collector's Edition as well as Xbox One ports of Halo 3 and Halo 4.
The source revealed this and more on NeoGAF. None of the statements have been confirmed by Microsoft.
