Get your guillotines ready, Assassin's Creed: Unity is here! Check out the first teaser trailer!
Earlier this week, a leak revealed Ubisoft's new Assassin's Creed game titled "Unity." Well, today Ubisoft officially confirmed the new game and released a teaser trailer on their YouTube site.
No release date has been announced as of yet.
Assassin's Creed: Unity will be a current-gen (PS4, Xbox One) title only, which means it will be the first title in the series dedicated to the new line of consoles. Also of note is the lack of numbering in the title. We originally assumed this was Assassin's Creed 5 (and it very well still could be), but it isn't being marketed that way. Could it be that Ubisoft is ditching the numbered titles altogether? It didn't seem to make a difference back in the AC2 days, anyways.
Unity doesn't look like it will be a direct sequel to Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, as it features a brand new assassin named Arno in 18-century Paris during the French Revolution.
The first teaser reveals the setting and shows us exactly the spectacle fans should expect in Assassin's Creed: Unity!
