Goats have invaded the video game world this week. Goat Simulator is one of two games starring goats that are up to no good!
I was going to avoid talking about goats this week, if only to keep up the illusion that the industry hadn't been invaded by farm animals this week. But alas, Goat Simulatoris just too good to pass up. Coffee Stain Studios' third-person "action" game doesn't seem to have a storyline or any kind of themes behind it. Really, all you do is fuck shit up with a goat. So...
Goat Simulator drops to Steam on April 1 for $10.
Another goat-centric game that came out this week is MagicalTimeBeam's Escape Goat 2, a 2D puzzle platformer with a simple goal: get your purple goat (sorry if this sounds dirty) out of the room its trapped in. Each level is a new room to escape, and the more you advance, the closer you are to saving the souls of a herd of sheep from a mythical tower. Don't get it twisted, though, this game is really about getting your goat out of the traps it keeps getting itself into. And it's on Steam NOW!
