Get another glimpse of the different hunter classes and the monstrous beast they’ll all be working to bring down.
Have you ever heard of a trailer for a trailer before? Well it seems like Turtle Rock Studios has just done exactly that for their upcoming and highly anticipated co-op shooter Evolve, by releasing a brand new “4v1 Trailer” to promote an “interactive multi-channel trailer” that will be hitting the game’s official YouTube channel on Tuesday, April 24. Next week’s trailer will also feature exclusive commentary from broadcast personality Ayesee and Chris Ashton from Turtle Rock Studios.
But until then, you can still catch a brief glimpse of some amazing Evolvegameplay footage within today’s supplementary trailer as well. In the new game from the Left 4 Dead crew, players will partake in epic 4 on 1 PvP battles, with the singular goal of taking down a massive and all-powerful player-controlled beast (who continuously grows in power the longer you let him survive out in the wild).
The hunters are made up of four unique classes that must all work together in order to come out on top, like the Trapper who is tasked with holding down the beast for the other teammates to pepper with gunfire, or the Medic who must heal the rest of the team in addition to slowing the beast’s movements with tranquilizer ammunition.
Den of Geek recently had a chance to go hands-on with Evolveduring PAX East 2014, and without giving too much away, you’ll definitely want to keep this one high on your radar.
