If the latest Assassin's Creed rumor is true, Unity will let you team up with friends to kill your targets.
According to a report from The Escapist, Assassin's Creed: Unity, the first current-gen installment in the hit series, will feature 4-player story co-op. Well, I recently complained that the Assassin's Creed franchise is starting become stale due to the frequency with which a new installment is released. Much like Call of Duty and EA sports games are a yearly given, Assassin's Creed has slowly turned into the old faithful of the action-adventure genre. A new game -- make that TWO games -- drop every year for our gaming pleasure.
It seems like Ubisoft might be trying to rectify that by including a new way of playing their golden child.
The Escapist has confirmed that "this new mode, along with the single-player, will be showcased at this year's E3 in two separate demos. Former NeoGAF poster Shinobi602 first revealed this tidbit over on Twitter." The two separate demos might not be shown at the same conference, of course. One could show at the Ubisoft conference, and the other at the Sony conference.
