Another new Call of Duty 2014 screenshot makes it look like a hyper futuristic take on warfare. The game will be revealed on May 4!
The Call of Duty news keeps on coming. Game Informer has revealed its June 2014 cover, and it's (unsurprisingly) the first look at Call of Duty 2014, the new game being developed by Sledgehammer Games.
From first glance, it looks like Idris Elba in a Crysis Nanosuit:

It looks like the title could be "Super Modern Warfare" (not a SNES version) from the screenshot. Is that a little underwhelming.
Sledgehammer has said before that they're taking the series in a bold, new direction, and that's very exciting. Nothing wrong with the newest Call of Dutygames, but the formula does start to get a little stale doesn't it?
We have high hopes for Sledgehammer's installment, and we've even provided a list of things we'd love to see in COD2014.
The game has a new teaser site, with a clock that's counting down to May 4, the day the game will undoubtedly be revealed. The picture is staticky right now, but we're guessing the cover will be a picture of a guy walking through fire?
