17-BIT's debut game that saw success on XBLA will drop on Steam next week..

Skulls of the Shogun, the Xbox Live arcade game that came out earlier this year from newcomer 17-Bit Studios, will head to PCs next week via Steam.  The game will be available for download on Monday, July 29, and will be $12 (or $9.59 with an early access discount).

Skulls of the Shogun will have six maps and an added epilogue, featuring a new skullatious hero, when it hits the Steam store.

From our review earlier this year:

17-BIT’s debut game, Skulls of the Shogun, stands out in the now overly-saturated Indie game market. The game is easy to pick up, but will be difficult to master. The campaign is good, but the game greatly impresses with its multiplayer modes which are sure to please the masses--casual gamers and hardcore gamers alike. Graphically advanced and highly addictive gameplay, as well as an awesome soundtrack, puts Skulls of the Shogun at the top of our fun-list for 2013.
