Microsoft revealed some great news at PAX Australia...

Great news from Microsoft today as the company has announced a key feature for the Xbox One at PAX Australia.

Microsoft stated that the Xbox One essentially gives gamers an "unlimited size" hard drive for storage via the cloud.  Therefore, gamers will be able to save unlimited game data via the service.

This feature is already available for the Xbox 360, but the big news is that the cloud saving will be available to ALL Xbox Live members, and not just Xbox Live Gold subscribers.

Here's an official statement from Microsoft's PR on the matter (via The Examiner):

Xbox Live offers Xbox One unlimited storage space in the cloud for all Xbox Live members to store numerous types of Xbox Live content, including your profile, games, Achievements and entertainment. This content is stored and saved in the cloud so you can automatically access it anywhere, anytime, no matter where you are.

Well, there you have it.  Microsoft is slowly making announcements that are opening the minds of gamers to possibly now purchasing an Xbox One.  And, Microsoft still has 3 to 4 months to go before the Xbox One is released in November, and they've already confirmed a Gamescom press event, which we are hoping will be the release date.

For all things Xbox One, keep it locked to Den of Geek.

Microsoft, stop giving us bells and whistles that aren't necessary and make the console better! You want people to use cloud space now after making us spend double the price of regular hard drives(which you could have used on PS3) to use for the 360? Stop dictating what you think we need and give us useful and affordable components. If you want me to buy a PS4, just say it already.
