You can expect to revisit Sora’s adventures in glorious HD this December.
Square Enix has been promising us that we’d see the release of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix in 2014, and now it looks like they’re making us wait all the way until the end of the year. The developer has revealed the official release date of the game as December 2, 2014 in North America and December 5, 2014 in Europe, both exclusively for the PS3.
The release date comes at the end of a brand new trailer that was just released in time for E3, which shows off a great mix of both remastered gameplay and cinematics from the anticipated collection. Clocking in at over three minutes, it’s a pretty generous trailer, and if you stick around all the way to the end, you’ll be treated to an extremely tantalizing tease about the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III.
As previously reported, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix will contain the remastered versions of both Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, in addition to remastered story cinematics from Kingdom Hearts Re:coded.
