The online multiplayer for Batman: Arkham Origins will blend traditional Arkham gameplay and third-person shooter mechanics. Unfortunately, though, according to the press release, the online mode will only be available for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 ONLY; the Wii U was omitted from the press release.
We reached out for clarification of the press release. When asked if the Wii U version would be getting the multiplayer mode, we were told
"MP will be available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC."
Just when you thought things for Nintendo's red-headed step child of consoles (yes, the Wii U) couldn't get any worse, we've now learned that it won't be getting the highly anticipated multiplayer mode, which includes Robin, for Batman: Arkham Origins.
