BioWare and EA have announced Shadow Realms Gamescom this morning, and yes, it's the 'you've been chosen' thing they've been teasing for the past few months. The game is a PC only game as of right now, and is an online action RPG coming late next year.
Shadow Realms is set in a modern fantasy world and features magical-powered heroes that look as ordinary as you or I. The game will feature dynamic, four player co-op that will pit you and your party against the "Shadowlord." Players can play as or against the Shadowlord.
BioWare noted that the story in Shadow Realms will be revealed episodically, playing out over time like a TV series. Players can head to the official site to sign up for the closed alpha next month.
